He did fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases from Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya, Guwahati. He is a fellow of International council of ophthalmology (FICO). He earned fellow of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology in vitreoretinal diseases (FAICO).
