- 15 years of experience in the field of vitreo-retina, managing common and complicated medical and surgical vitreo-retinal disorders. Areas of special interest in retinal vascular disease, retinal detachment, diabetic eye disease and Retinopathy of prematurity. Contributed in formulation of national guidelines for universal eye screening in new borns including Retinopathy of prematurity.
Research and Designation
- Research: Principal investigator in PEACHTREE study, a multinational multi-centre study. (Supra choroidal triamcinolone injection to treat macularedema associated with non infectious uveitis). Has 10 publications in prestigious peer reviewed journals and contributed book chapters. Current Designation: Senior Consultant Vitreo Retina and Uvea.
