Dr. Bharat R. Thoumungkan is a graduate (MBBS) from Gauhati medical college,Guwahati. He has completed his post graduation (MS) from Assam medicalcollege, Dibrugarh. Subsequently he did his fellowship in paediatric ophthalmologyand Strabismus from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai TN. Additionallyhe has received fellow of All India collegium of ophthalmology degree (FAICO)inLasik/refractive surgery. Dr. Bharat’s areas of keen interest are adult& paediatric cataract surgery; refractive solutions (LASIK) for adults& children; Strabismus (squint) & amblyopia management. A member of AllIndia Ophthalmological Society, he is well recognised for his extensiveexperience and expertise in femto laser assisted robotic eye surgery, phacoimulsificationsurgery(MICS), SMILE, LASIK and Squint surgery.
